Accessing data using your copy of matlab

OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://45.183.221.150/SOURCES/.NOAA/.NCDC/.ERSST/.version3b/.anom/%5BX+Y+%5Daverage/%5BT+%5Drmsover/ngridtable/dods')
